I traveled with them to Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands - Shikotan, Kunashir and Iturup. Incredibly, stunningly beautiful, how harsh, how soulful the places are. Our Far East is beautiful, I recommend it to everyone without exception, just be careful with your equipment. The weather there in the fall (and I was there in the fall) is poorly predictable.
About the company: the organization is very good, the guides are friendly, the equipment is all in excellent condition, we didn’t even stay in the hotel in the rain (and with these guides we would have gone in the snow - and that’s right, I think). The weather has changed - the tour program has been slightly changed. All without additional charges, the company did a great job. I didn’t see Iturup, but I saw Sakhalin and ate too much seafood.
Expensive, yes. But there is such an infrastructure there. Nevertheless, I don’t regret a single penny spent.
